Several Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) will also be signed for initiating new social sector projects under CPEC.  Eight companies are already working jointly with the Pakistani companies under the flagship project of Chinese grand Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

The Chinese ambassador said hundreds of vocational centers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) and Balochistan were being upgraded. This would fulfill growing need of skilled workers in the upcoming CPEC projects.

Once the entire project is completed, Russia and all Central Asian states will rely on Gwadar port for execution of their international trade. CPEC has helped Pakistan become a hub of regional connectivity, set on the path of rapid development, said Chairman Pakistan- China Institute Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed.
