Starting from Bahawalpur City to Lal Sohanra National Park, through this bus service identification of the historic sites will be projected in addition to creating employment for the local people, informed Divisional Commissioner Nayyar Iqbal, as it could attract over 300,000 tourists and visitors from home and abroad.

Due to Bahawalpur’s historic and heritage places and other attractive places in the vast desert of Cholistan like Derwara Fort, the city could be a potential tourism centre according to the preliminary feasibility report.

Furthermore, to cater to this project, modern bus terminals with waiting and parking areas, along with tuck shops and other facilities would be constructed on the prescribed routes.
