ISLAMABAD: Chief Commissioner Islamabad Amir Ali Ahmed, who is also serving as Secretary Excise & Taxation Department, has announced the initiation of the much-anticipated drive to register estate agencies and property offices in Islamabad.
A delegation consisting of Islamabad Estate Agents Association President Tahir Mehmood, General Secretary Chaudhary Zahid Rafique, Finance Secretary Syed Imran Bukhari, and former association president Chaudhary Ameer Khan met Director of Excise & Taxation Department Bilal Azam Khan in this regard.
The delegation assured that all estate agencies associated with them will be registered sector-wise, while action will be taken against unregistered offices as per the rules and regulations of the union and excise department.
In response, Azam tasked Assistant Excise & Taxation Officer, inspectors and sub-inspectors with assisting the union in the timely registration of the subject offices.
