ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has given his approval for the ‘One Stop Service’ (OSS) in Special Economic Zones (SEZs) model, which was collaboratively developed by the CPEC Authority and the Board of Investment (BoI) to help investors.
According to the details, One-Stop Service (OSS) will allow for timely and expedited processing of applications. It will accelerate essential services, clearances, licences, and permits that SEZ investors need to start their businesses in the SEZs.
The OSS will link the investor and the Service Provider, re-engineer business processes, remove regulatory requirements via risk-based methodology, and implement a compliance regime. Furthermore, it will empower developers and allow delegation of maximum powers by government authorities to the OSS focal points.
