Area Guide H-8, Islamabad

H-8 Sector falls under the jurisdiction of Islamabad Capital Development Authority (CDA) and located at the right in front of Sector I-8. This part of of the capital city is known as a hub of educational institutions and various other organizations such as Allama Iqbal Open University, Preston University, Islamabad Model Post Graduate College, OPF Boys College, Beacon House Schools, Virtual Comsats and Shifa College of Medicine, Shifa International Hospital, Pakistan Geological Survey, Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, National Highway and Motorway Police, Pakistan Meteorological Department, Pakistan Academy of Letters, SZABIST, Islamabad, and Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education. It is accessed conveniently through Islamabad Expressway, Kashmir Highway and 9th Avenue. The area is just a few minutes of drive from famous visiting spots such as Pakistan Monument, Lok Virsa Heritage Museum and Pakistan Museum of Natural Heritage. The sector is as beautiful as other sectors of Islamabad with a lot of greenery around. The area benefits from various commercial markets available in the adjacent Sector I-8.
