Islamabad—A delegation from the corporate and business community met with Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa on Tuesday. The members and senior CDA officers were also present on this occasion.
CDA Chairman Randhawa stated that the corporate sector and business community are invited to join the various activities of the AzadiFest to be celebrated on the Independence Day. He emphasized that everyone should come together under one flag to celebrate the joys of independence on August 14 and make it an all-inclusive celebration.
The delegation assured their full cooperation and support for the AzadiFest on August 14. Chairman CDA expressed that celebrating Independence Day in a grand manner would instill a sense of patriotism among youth and highlight the importance of this day.
Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa further highlighted that CDA is introducing business-friendly and open-up policies for the corporate sector and business community to invest in the number of projects for the development of infrastructure in Islamabad.
Chairman CDA highlighted that positive steps are being taken to promote various sectors, including tourism, the hotel industry, the IT industry, and new sectors development etc.. He mentioned that CDA is establishing a Business Facilitation Center to remove all obstacles in the way of investors and introducing ease of doing business. The Business Facilitation Center will provide all necessary facilities to the business community under one roof.
Chairman CDA directed that the recently approved Joint Venture Rules be displayed on the website of CDA. Similarly, details of future projects and investment plans for the convenience of the corporate sector and business community should also be made available on the website.
