The board members granted approval for the construction of the world’s largest bird aviary, which will be situated in F-9 Park. This expansive aviary is set to cover an impressive area of 10 acres, making it a remarkable addition to the park’s offerings.

The primary objective behind establishing this bird aviary is to provide a safe haven for various bird species, contributing to the conservation of biological diversity. Moreover, it will serve as a platform to educate and entertain visitors, offering valuable insights into the avian world. The procurement of this project will be carried out through the open auction (Design, Build, Operate, and Transfer) approach.

During the CDA Board meeting, the revised layout plans for Sectors D-13, E-13, and F Sectors were also presented. These plans garnered praise from the board members due to their modern landscape design, which includes designated plots for the affected individuals. Additionally, the board emphasized the need for further enhancements and directed the planning team to address them accordingly, keeping up with contemporary requirements.

The approval of 20 plots in Capital Street was another highlight of the CDA Board meeting. In line with the board’s directives to make Capital Street more investor-friendly, the rules and regulations for the area were revised and simplified. These changes aim to facilitate and attract potential investors, streamlining the process of establishing businesses in the region.

In a major decision, the CDA board members also sanctioned the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2023-24, estimating a total of Rs. 150 billion 948 million rupees. The Capital Development Authority’s projected budget amounts to Rs. 150 billion 95 million, and the surplus budget for the current year is anticipated to be Rs. 852 million
