ISLAMABAD: A delegation of Traders Welfare Association, G-11 Markaz, Islamabad led by its President Ch. Aftab Gujar visited the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) and underlined key issues which need urgent attention of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI).
President Gujar and Secretary-General Syed Qaiser Abbas Kazmi of the Traders Welfare Association conveyed that due to the lack of attention of CDA and MCI, the traders in the market are facing numerous problems.
Further highlighting the problems, they apprised the ICCI that the long-awaited installation of a filtration plant in their market was still pending, due to which people of the area were deprived of clean drinking water. They added that broken roads and footpaths, insufficient parking, inadequate sewerage system, barely functioning street lights, water shortage, poor sanitation, lack of public toilet etc. were the major issues in G-11 Markaz.
