ISLAMABAD: Bids for the construction of a 10km portion of the Khayaban-i-Margalla project from G.T. Road to D-12 have been opened by the Capital Development Authority (CDA).
As per the CDA officials, the next phase will cater to the construction of the road from Khayaban-i-Iqbal junction and Constitution Avenue till Bhara Kahu, crossing Bari Imam and Quaid-i-Azam University.
According to the reports, the CDA plans to extend the proposed road at Bhara Kahu to reduce traffic woes in addition to constructing a bypass road that will link it with Murree Expressway.
