
ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) board, on Monday, announced that the entry fee at Islamabad parks will be ended.
The prominent parks where the fee will not be collected include F-9, Lake View, Daman-e-Koh and others.
The Board, under the chairman Noor Alamin Mengal, further announced development works for the capital. These included the construction of Serena Chowk which will be redesigned to include a single-barrel underpass.
In addition, to help ease traffic congestion and solve parking problems, PC-II was approved for the construction of plazas in the Blue Area, I-8 Centre, F-9 Centre, F-10 Centre and G-9 Centre.
Moreover, the civic authority approved the operation of 13 buses on different routes in the federal capital. A National Bus Service in the I-11 area was also discussed.
