
ISLAMABAD: The increase in the export of cement by 4.57 per cent during the first 11 months of financial year 2020-21 compared to last year.
According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), the exports increased from $242.505 million during July-May 2019-20 to $253.584 million in July-May 2020-21.
As per available data, a 13.27 per cent increase was witnessed in terms of quantity. The exports increased from 6,570,921 metric tons to 7,442,573 metric tons.
As per details, the exports were recorded at $28.527 million in May 2021 compared to $19.302 million in May 2020.
