Dubai: Emaar Properties launched the Dubai Square project in May at Dubai Creek Harbour, bringing residential, retail and entertainment options together in one development. At the center of this project is the Dubai Square Mall, which is scheduled to open within the next three years.
The mall is under construction and is expected to cover around 2.6 million square metres, which is nearly three times the size of Downtown Dubai. With a development cost of Dh180 billion, Dubai Square Mall is set to become one of the region’s largest shopping and entertainment destinations.
Emaar founder Mohamed Alabbar said the mall will support the growing electric vehicle market by offering dedicated facilities for EVs. He noted that the project aims to deliver a modern, sustainable and technology-focused retail experience.
Dubai Square Mall will feature skylights, LED technology, glazed roofs and wide glass windows to create an immersive environment. It will also include landscaped green spaces to offer a more pleasant and welcoming setting for visitors.
Dubai Square is part of the wider Dubai Creek Harbour master plan. Emaar has already developed a strong portfolio of malls across Dubai, each offering distinct shopping, dining and entertainment experiences.
