Committee Chairman Zahir Shah Toru has asked the federal government to ensure compensation for the broken roads.

“Various roads have been destroyed by companies working on the CPEC, so the federal government should collect Rs1 billion from them and transfer it to the provincial government for reconstruction,” declared Toru.

The meeting was attended by the committee members and lawmakers from Mansehra, including Sardar Mohammad Yusuf, Babar Saleem Swati, Ahmad Hussain Shah and NaeemSakhi among others.

In the same proceedings, a probe into the substandard construction of the Balakot tehsil headquarters hospital, Naran rural health centre and the Jaba government girls’ degree college was ordered.
