Land acquisition for Dasu power project begins

MANSEHRA: Acquisition of over 9,000 acres of land had been started by the administration for Dasu hydropower project, announced Deputy Commissioner of Upper Kohistan district Arif Khan Yousafzai.

Due to land for the project was unsettled, after assuming the office Mr Yousafzai has sought the help of the local Jirga to settle all the issues related to land, he further ensured.

While updating about the current progress of the project, he told that the administration had successfully acquired 730 acres of land, which has led to the start of work.

The implementation of the Dasu project would help improve the socio-economic conditions of the area, as the issues of power shortage will be overcome, making lives of the residents easier.
