
LAHORE: In a meeting presided over by Chief Secretary Punjab Maj (R) Azam Suleman Khan, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) was directed to improve its one window operation in order to facilitate the construction sector.
The directives were issued to Director General LDA in order to promote ease of doing business, including construction permits.
LDA has been ordered to provide services including provision of electricity, gas and water connections under one roof by utilising the one window operation initiative as per the orders of the chief secretary.
Speaking on the occasion, Federal Secretary Board of Investment Omar Rasool announced the implementation of regulations in order to further improve the ranking for ease of business in year 2020.
Senior Member Board of Revenue Babar Hayat Tarar, Secretary Planning and Development Imran Sikandar Baloch, Secretary Law Nazir Ahmad Gajana, Chairman Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), DG Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA), administrative secretaries of departments including labour, environment, communication and works, along with relevant officials were among the attendees.
