
Lahore: In a meeting held on Sunday, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar reviewed the status on the infrastructural developments. These include the construction and repair of roads especially the proposed ‘Naya Pakistan Manzalain Asaan’ programme of road sector for the fiscal year 2019-2020.
The respective sector will be developed for the promotion of energy, agriculture, mining, tourism and industry. Two way roads and connectors will be built to connect cities in Punjab with CPEC, Buzdar added.
The CM was briefed on road schemes by the secretary for construction and communication.
Billions of rupees have been put on board for the purpose. Funds will be provided to each district in proportion to its population, said the CM.
