New Low Recorded for Water Tables in Mansehra District

MANSEHRA: Official of the public health engineering department Amina Waheed, on Tuesday, reported that the water table has significantly lowered in urban parts of the Mansehra district.

The information was revealed during an oath-taking ceremony for the workers’ union of the Oghi tehsil municipal administration. The ceremony was attended by Tehsil Council Chairman Nawabzada Haysam Khan. 

“Water schemes successfully executed by our department are providing safe drinking water to the people across the district,” Amina informed at the ceremony. 

Waheed further said that although the department did not have enough finances, it was going its best to provide the best services to the people of the district. The goal is to provide an uninterrupted supply of water and smooth functioning of all services.
