
FAISALABAD: Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development and Management Company (FIEDMC) has allocated Rs2.5 billion for the development projects of M-3 Industrial City.
A FIEDMC spokesman said that FIEDMC board during its meeting has decided to construct a road like Faisalabad Expressway from Sahianwala to Chiniot Road to provide easy access to the Economic Zone established under the agency of FIEDMC in Faisalabad.
He said that two new grid stations having a capacity of 40-megawatt each will also be established in M-3 Industrial City, along with the augmentation of safe city project in the area.
Faisalabad Industrial Estate will gain unprecedented attention in the coming years. Chinese companies are willing to invest large sums in the special economic zones established under the CPEC project. An investment of $5 billion is being expected and Faisalabad Industrial Estate will also succeed to attract huge investments for its industrial city during the next 3-5 years, he added.
