
ISLAMABAD: The development work on various projects continues to uplift the federal capital under the Light Up Islamabad campaign launched earlier.
The horticultural activities performed by the Environment Directorate West staff CDA included clearance of excessive and wild growth, rain growth patches, removal of green waste and planting new trees. The activities were performed in several points on Srinagar Highway, IJP Road, 9th Avenue, F-9 Park, Parbat Road Park Sector F-7/4, Sector H-8, and Sector I-9.
The Machinery Pool Organization (MPO) was utilized to carry out sanitation work in rural and urban parts, all across the federal capital.
In addition, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) announced to take action, by issuing challans to people over mismanagement.
Work to install and fix street lights was performed by the Street Lights Division on several locations, including 4th Road, Diplomatic Enclave, and Aabpara Market.
The ‘Light Up Islamabad’ campaign was launched by the CDA to address the existing issues voiced by the residents living in Islamabad.
