
PESHAWAR: Over 15,000 houses will be constructed, under the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme, in the Sarozai area of Peshawar, revealed Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Minister for Housing Dr Amjad Ali.
The initiative will be carried out in collaboration with the Pakistan Housing Foundation. In addition, the registration process has been completed.
Under the announced project, satellite towns will also be developed in various districts. In regard to this, the administrations of the relevant districts have been sent letters to identify suitable sites.
The minister also discussed the government’s plans to provide affordable housing to government servants and the low-income groups of the society.
This announcement was made at a balloting ceremony held for 80 flats in the Hayatabad High-Rise Flats for government employees.
