
LAHORE: Over 50,000 Roshan Digital Accounts (RDA) have been opened by Overseas Pakistanis, with daily remittances surpassing $200 million in December 2020, the State Bank of Pakistan informed.
The Roshan Digital Account, unveiled on Sep 11, 2020, by Prime Minister Imran Khan, is a joint collaboration of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) with the commercial banks operating in Pakistan, providing complete digital banking solutions for the overseas Pakistani, offering ease of payment and investment facilities in various sectors of Pakistan, including real estate, stocks, etc. for them to be able to get impeccable services in their homeland.
