97 development projects to be completed on time: Nasir Hussain

KARACHI: While presiding over a meeting to discuss the development projects, the Sindh Minister for Information & Local Government was informed that 97 schemes will be completed during the fiscal year 2020-21.

The total includes 63 road development projects, 6 mega projects and 25 projects under the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board.

The minister urged the officials to maintain the quality of work while working as per the guidelines to achieve results meeting the international standards.

Nasir Hussain presided over another meeting to discuss the development schemes tender processes.

He informed the participants of the meeting that all the development schemes and tender processes should be completed on time.

The authorities were directed to complete the procedures as per the issued SOPs.

Mayor Sukkur Arsalam Shaikh, Special Secretaries Chiraghuddin Hingoro and Mohammad Taha, Secretary Procurement Committee Waseem Ahmed, Senior Director KMC Masood Alam, Director KMC Musheer Ahmed, Project Director Malir Expressway Niaz Soomro, PD CLICK Zubair Channa and M D Water Board Asad Ullah Khan were among the attendees of the meeting.
