LAHORE: The Gulab Devi Underpass was inaugurated by Chief Minister Punjab who declared that it will be named after Abdul Sattar Edhi.
The full-height three-lane underpass will facilitate the movement of more than 132,000 vehicles, while transparent tendering saved Rs60 million.
According to the CM, the facility will benefit daily commuters along with patients of Gulab Devi, Children, Social Security, and General Hospital patients.
The CM told the media that the Abdul Sattar Edhi Underpass was completed two months ahead of schedule, for which the LDA DG and governing body members deserve the credit.
