PESHAWAR: In a significant development, the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has signed an agreement worth Rs85bn for the construction of Balakot Hydropower Project.
As per the details, the 300-MW project will be operationalised in six-year with the financial support of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The ceremony took place under the presence of Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), which was attended by the officials of KP Energy Development Organisation, and the Chinese construction company.
Speaking on the occasion, the CM, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that the agreement is of great importance and a benchmark for the KP government.
