AJK government receives 90,000 applications for low cost houses in the area: Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme

Islamabad: The first phase of Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme (NPHS) in Azad Kashmir has received a handful of 90,000 applications. According to the Ministry of Kashmir Affairs, people of AJK will be prioritized for the scheme.

In further information provided by the Ministry, development work of Muzaffarabad- Mirpur expressway will be initiated soon.

The ministry has also conveyed the inclusion of AJK in the Rs10 billion campaign drive under Clean and Green Pakistan. Free health care worth Rs720,000 under the Sehat Insaf Scheme will be provided to families living in AJK. A Rs5 billion relief package will also be included in the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for rehabilitation of people along the Line of Control (LoC).
