LAHORE: Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar performed the balloting for the Naya Pakistan Apartments Project at the CM’s office on Monday.

The Provincial Ministers Mian Mahmood-ur-Rasheed, Mian Aslam Iqbal, Murad Raas, SACM Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, Sadia Sohail MPA, Chief Secretary, Secretary Information, Vice-Chairman LDA SM Imran, DG LDA, DG PITB, and others were also in attendance. 

The CM informed that the successful applicants are to consult the Punjab Bank or its nominated banks for letters of comfort. In order to receive a subsidy on the Rs 2.7 million apartments, a separate application is to be submitted to NAPHDA. The successful applicants are requested to deposit 10 percent down payment while the others are to deposit 21 percent down payment. The remaining of the payment is to be paid in monthly instalments after the apartment is occupied.
