
QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan Alyani, presided over a high-level meeting to review new and ongoing projects, including approvals, authorisations and disbursement of new development projects.
While briefing the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary for Planning and Development, Hafiz Abdul Basit, informed that 286 new development schemes were included under the current Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) while 1,525 ongoing schemes were a part of the current development programme.
Along with 184 flagship schemes, the meeting was also apprised of the new plans devised for the current financial year, including 155 PDWPs and 2,131 DSC development schemes.
After reviewing progress, CM Alyani instructed all relevant authorities to ensure timely completion of all tasks without compromising quality.
The meeting attendees included provincial ministers Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi, Abdul Khaliq Hazara and Noor Mohammad Dummar, the additional chief secretary for planning and development, principal secretary to the chief minister, director of public relations and secretaries of departments concerned.
