
ISLAMABAD: The provincial government of Balochistan has decided to start construction work on 550 road projects at the cost of Rs20bn to improve the rod infrastructure in the province.
According to the details, the construction work will be started from the budgetary allocations of the fiscal year 2021-2022.
As per the official of the Balochistan government, the government laid 2500km of roads in the last financial year furthermore, the government is aiming to connect border areas with the national highways in order to boost trade in the region.
The official was also of the view that the government is also working to develop tourist spots along the roads as per the projects allocated under Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP).
