Islamabad: In a significant stride, the 66th CDA-DWP Meeting witnessed Chairman Noor Ul Amin Mengal presiding over the Capital Development Authority Development Working Party. Notably, the expansion of medical facilities within the Capital Hospital’s additional block took center stage. Originally designed for a capacity of a hundred beds, the upcoming block at Capital Hospital will now accommodate an additional fifty beds, all while optimizing budget allocation at PKR 186.394 million in 66th CDA-DWP Meeting. The timeline for this expansion is set at six months, showcasing a commitment to swift and efficient progress.
Furthermore, the CDA-DWP gathering also yielded approval for the Construction Supervision Project concerning the extension from Margalla Avenue N-5 to Motorway M-1. This ambitious endeavor encompasses the development of an eco-friendly zone spanning 2.4 kilometers of land, with a special focus on sustainable road infrastructure. The project also encompasses the construction of an interchange on the N-5 highway. Estimated at a cost of PKR 5452.001 million, this comprehensive plan is expected to be accomplished within an eight-month timeframe.
