Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has earmarked PKR 200 million to settle outstanding land compensation claims in Sector C-15, aiming to resolve long-pending payment issues and advance development activities in the area.
Officials said the funds will be used to clear dues owed to landowners whose properties were acquired for the sector’s development. The move is expected to remove key obstacles that have slowed infrastructure and residential projects.
According to CDA sources, delays in compensation payments had hampered progress in Sector C-15. The new allocation is intended to streamline the settlement process, improve coordination with affected stakeholders and facilitate the timely execution of development plans.
The authority emphasised its commitment to addressing land-related matters in a transparent and structured manner, noting that prompt payment of dues is critical for restoring landowner confidence and supporting urban expansion.
Sector C-15 is among Islamabad’s growing residential areas, and officials believe that resolving compensation issues will help accelerate construction work and improve future service delivery in the sector.
