Islamabad: An important meeting of the Federal Development Authority (Capital Development Authority) Board was convened on Saturday, chaired by Captain Norul Amin Mengal at the CDA Headquarters. The session was attended by all board members, who also granted approval for the minutes of the previous meeting.
During the meeting, a significant decision was reached regarding the establishment of a CDA Capital Medical College in Islamabad. To this end, the CDA Chairman issued directives to the Planning Member and Estate Member to designate a suitable location for the medical college in Islamabad.
Likewise, the CDA board granted approval to allocate a specific site in the Kohat Triangle area for the Fire Brigade and Dispensary. This location will encompass the Dispensary, Fire Brigade Station, Chamber of Commerce, and Industrial Association.
Moreover, the meeting endorsed the establishment of additional filtration plants in various commercial hubs of Islamabad. The responsibility for constructing these filtration plants lies with the CDA, while the business community will oversee their maintenance.
Furthermore, approval was granted during the meeting to allocate land for the FBAR Academy. Additionally, the CDA board approved the Out Plan for Sector C-13. Furthermore, a dedicated committee comprising officials from the RDA, CDA, and Cantonment Board was formed to address residential and commercial building matters along the boundaries of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
Subsequently, the meeting resolved to create new positions for three directors within the CDA Planning Wing. Additionally, approval was given for the establishment of an Archery Club in F-9 Park, Islamabad, one of the most famous parks in Islamabad, during the board meeting of the Capital Development Authority.
