The meeting was attended by CDA Board members and other senior officials. Several agenda items were discussed during the session.

One of the key decisions made by the Board was the revision of rates for industrial plots. The Board approved a significant reduction in the charges for plot conversion, amalgamation, and subdivision. Additionally, it was decided that residential utility charges will now be applied to farmhouses instead of industrial rates.

The Board also reviewed the functioning of the MPO Directorate and approved measures to enhance its performance and efficiency. To facilitate this, the provision of the latest and most modern machinery was approved, ensuring better availability of road infrastructure and construction resources for Islamabad’s development projects.

Chairman CDA directed the MPO Directorate to actively participate in government and private bidding processes for road construction projects. He further emphasized the need for the Directorate to generate its own revenue to cover operational costs and reinvest in acquiring advanced equipment.
