Islamabad, Pakistan: In a meeting held at the CDA headquarters on Wednesday, Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa emphasized the need for immediate action to address encroachments and accelerate development work in Sector E-12 of Islamabad.
The meeting, attended by CDA officials and representatives from relevant departments, focused on discussing strategies to expedite development efforts in various sectors of the city and resolve issues related to illegal occupation of land.
Chairman Randhawa directed the CDA to launch an anti-encroachment operation in Sector E-12 to clear the land of illegal occupants and pave the way for development work. He stressed the importance of coordination between the CDA, Islamabad Police, and Islamabad Administration to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Furthermore, the Chairman announced his intention to personally visit Sector E-12 to oversee the resolution of issues and expedite the development process. He emphasized the need to address encroachments on the sector’s land and ensure that the rehabilitation benefits of affectees are honored on-site.
To streamline sector development efforts, Chairman Randhawa instructed the Enforcement Wing to work directly with the Member Estate. He also called for similar actions in other sectors, such as I-15 and I-12, where encroachments should be removed to facilitate timely completion of development work.
The CDA’s proactive approach, under the leadership of Chairman Randhawa, demonstrates its commitment to advancing Islamabad’s urban development and ensuring that land designated for public use is appropriately developed and maintained.
