According to Graana.com’s correspondent, Rs10 billion have been allocated for the development of roads, parks and grounds in rural areas.

Moreover, the civic authority will hand over the possession of 4,000 housing units of Sector I-15 to the allottees in March, while the construction work will be completed in two sub-sectors of Sector E-12.

In addition, actions have been initiated on an emergency basis to end the encroachment in Islamabad.

The CDA management has also announced that the framework for solid waste management will be announced. Not only this, a design of bus terminals in Islamabad will be given to the private sector.  To further ease traffic congestion, Express service will be launched with the support of the private sector without subsidy to establish the fastest travel facility in Islamabad.

As per our sources, Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Noor ul Amin Mengal has expressed these views in an introductory interview with the media. It has further been decided that CDA will give possession of land to 4000 allottees in Sector I-15 so that people in these sectors can fulfil their dream of building their own houses.

While the development work in the two sub-sectors of Sector E-12 is in the final stages, it is expected that the possession will soon be awarded.

Additionally, to increase CDA’s sources of income, the Department of Resource Management has been created while Building Control and Parks and Horticulture agencies have been established.
