ISLAMABAD: The Small Dam Organisation (SDO) and Capital Development Authority (CDA) have agreed to resolve the issue over the release of two million gallons of daily (mgd) water from Rawal Dam to Islamabad as SDO receives Rs32 million in outstanding dues.
According to Special Assistant to Prime Minister on CDA Affairs Ali Nawaz Awan, the release of water supply will address the scarcity issues in the I-10 and G-10 sectors of Islamabad.
As per the CDA officials, two mgd untreated water will be handed over by the SDO to CDA for treatment before supplying them to the sectors.
