In line with the Master Plan of 1960, the CDA has acquired land in several areas of the federal capital to expand the ROW to 1,200 feet.

According to the details, a portion of the unacquired area of ROW in Zone II will be allocated for commercial development. The civic authority has allotted this space in G-16 and G-17.

In addition, the authority has also decided to introduce a  commercialization charge of PKR 7,500 per square yard for commercial plots. Previously, a conversion fee was in place for the entire plot area.
