
ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has continued the maintenance work during the latest rain spells in Islamabad.
According to the details, the staff of CDA maintained power systems on highways, streets, and neighborhoods for facilitating the residents of Islamabad during the monsoon season.
The civic authority of Islamabad has already restored 85pc of the streetlights in the capital while it is removing defects in the remaining streetlights.
According to the media reports, the development authority with the assistance of 130 staff members repaired damaged transformers and restored the streetlights.
Similarly, the CDA administration has also restored 87pc of traffic signals to their original condition and is working on the remaining ones.
