
ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority Development Working Party (CDADWP), on Wednesday, held a meeting to approve the PC-I of Margalla Highway Extension.
Chairman Capital Development Authority Captain, Noor ul Amin Mengal, presided over the meeting.
A number of public welfare initiatives received the green light at the latest gathering. Specifically, the CDA Development Working Party granted approval for the PC-I of the Margalla Avenue Extension Project spanning from N-5 to M-1, as well as the PC-I of Lehtarar Road from Khana Pull to PINSTECH.
Moreover, during the meeting, the PC-II of engaging consultancy services for the Kuri Enclave Mixed Use Housing Project was endorsed, alongside the PC-II of project consultancy services for Orchard Heights.
Similarly, the PC-II of project consultancy services aimed at conducting a Road Safety Audit in Islamabad was also granted approval during the session.
As per the directives of Chairman Capital Development Authority, Captain Noor ul Amin Mengal, the project in question will engage a consultant to propose measures that promote the safe and seamless flow of traffic on roads.
The road safety audit to be conducted under this initiative is expected to play a pivotal role in mitigating the incidence of accidents on roads.
Additionally, this project is set to augment the significance of road safety in the planning and design of roads.
During the meeting of the CDA Development Working Party, the PC-I of Capital Street in Islamabad also received the nod of approval.
