As part of their ongoing efforts to improve the city’s transportation network, the CDA has commenced asphalt work on the road leading to the Korang Bridge. In addition, they have also begun construction and development work on the Islamabad Expressway, following the completion of the IJP Road project.
The Chairman of CDA, Nural Amin Mengal, took to social media to share the exciting news, posting pictures that showcase the preparations for the upcoming work on the Expressway. These initiatives reflect the CDA’s commitment to enhancing the city’s infrastructure and ensuring a smooth commuting experience for its residents.
Prior to that, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) had announced its intention to construct a service lane alongside the road to accommodate slow-moving traffic, while also redefining the direction of IJP Road in Islamabad. Additionally, during an anti-encroachment operation led by the Director General of Enforcement, the land occupied by mafia groups was reclaimed, effectively putting an end to illegal commercial activities.
Moreover, the construction and renovation of the Express Road represent a significant achievement in terms of transportation and the advancement of the real estate sector in the twin cities.
