Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) administration is actively implementing measures to enhance facilities for citizens. As part of these efforts, the CDA is expediting the installation of pedestrian bridges at three different locations to improve pedestrian crossing on the Srinagar highway, ultimately reducing road accidents.
In specific, one of these three pedestrian bridges, located opposite the Chairman’s Office CDA in Sector G-7/4 near the Metro Bus Station, is scheduled for installation from 10 PM on January 26, 2024, to 10 PM on January 28, 2024. During this period, Srinagar Highway will be fully closed for all types of traffic.
The Capital Development Authority has reached out to the Islamabad Traffic Police, urging them to arrange timely alternative routes to facilitate the public and minimize inconvenience. Additionally, the CDA administration is appealing to the public to cooperate fully with the Islamabad Traffic Police to prevent any potential accidents.
