
ISLAMABAD: The Water Supply Wing of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) announced that tenders have been issued to secure six new tube wells in Islamabad to ameliorate the water crisis.
According to sources, the tube wells will be installed in several locations of the Federal Capital. The decision has been made to avoid water shortages in the future.
The CDA officials have requested the general public to be mindful of the water use. It has also prohibited deep boring; violators will be penalised. Relevant authorities have also been directed to disrupt all illegal water connections.
