CDA Launches Slum Cleaning Drive, Promises Quick Resolution to Water Woes

ISLAMABAD: In light of the special directives of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) is organizing a phased cleaning of slums. In this regard, on Tuesday, the water supply department of the CDA organized a slum cleaning operation in view of the citizens’ facilities. Issues related to water supply were addressed, and online complaints from citizens were received.

During this slum cleaning operation, the Director-General of Water Management, along with relevant officers of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), provided online answers to citizens’ questions. Online complaints were received from all sectors and areas of Islamabad on this occasion. It was assured by the water supply department of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) that complaints received will be resolved within twenty-four hours.
