CDA open bids for construction of 9th Avenue service road

ISLAMABAD: To achieve the set revenue target through the auction of commercial plots in Blue Area, the engineering wing of Capital Development Authority (CDA) has called for bids for the construction of a service road from 9th Avenue to the F-10 roundabout.

Along with the construction of the road, the CDA Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed confirmed addressing issues of parking by establishing parking facilities along the road and drainage system.

Additionally, the chairman also ensured to resolve parking space issues experienced in Blue Area, form D-Chowk to Khyber Plaza.

The authority chairman promised to complete the project before investors deposit instalments in one year.

The authority has also announced to provide utility connections to facilitate the people who purchase plots in the auction and in this regard, held meetings with the Islamabad Electric Supply Company and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines.
