ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) received a sum of Rs27 billion against the auction of 16 commercial plots, in a three-day event held at Jinnah Convention Centre.
The CDA Board will accord the final approval for the received bids, informed spokesperson CDA.
The authority secured Rs8 billion from the auction of two plots on the final day, after receiving bids for plots from I-14 Class 3 shopping centre and Blue Area.
The authority fetched a sum of Rs3.5 billion and Rs15.5 billion on the first and second day of the auction by bidding of five and nine plots respectively.
Plots located in Diplomatic Enclave, G-9 Markaz and I-8 Markaz, New Blue Area, G-10 Markaz, I-8 Markaz, Diplomatic Enclave, F-10 Markaz, Industrial Triangle Kahuta and various class III shopping centres including G-9/1, G-9/2, G-10/3, G-11/4 and I-11/4 were selected and auctioned on the first day of the proceedings.
Whereas, plots from Blue Area, Sector G-11/3, Diplomatic Enclave, F-10, Industrial Triangle Kahuta, Orchard Scheme and Industrial area I-10/3 received bids from investors, informed spokesperson CDA were offered on the second day.
The proceedings were supervised by a 10-member committee, headed by Member Finance CDA. The committee comprised Member Estate, Member P & D, DFA-II, DG Law, Director of Public Relations, Director Urban Planning, Director Regional Planning, Director EM-II and Director Finance.
