ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) carried out an anti-encroachment drive in sector E-12/2 on Wednesday, and recovered 350 kanals of state land.
Members of relevant departments of the civic body were also present, including the Director General, Deputy Commissioner and other officials.
The relinquished land was returned to the concerned departments to begin and manage development projects in the area. It is expected that this would boost further progress in the sector.
Residential plots had been allotted to the previous owners earlier, in exchange for their land and properties.
