Islamabad – The Capital Development Authority (CDA) held a meeting on Saturday to review and enhance healthcare services for Islamabad’s residents, with particular focus on CDA employees. The session was chaired by CDA Chairman, Chief Commissioner Islamabad, and Director General Civil Defense, Muhammad Ali Randhawa.
Randhawa emphasized the importance of strengthening healthcare delivery in areas such as emergency services, outpatient departments (OPDs), patient care, and laboratory infrastructure. He stated that the primary goal is to ensure the availability of quality medical services not only for CDA staff and their families but also for the general population of the federal capital.
He noted that ongoing initiatives in the healthcare sector are vital to addressing the evolving medical needs of Islamabad’s growing population. The Chairman reaffirmed that the well-being of CDA employees remains a top priority and that efforts are being made to enhance healthcare services within existing resources.
Randhawa added that focusing on improving health infrastructure will significantly raise the standard of patient care and ensure access to modern medical technologies across the city.
