Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has approached the Federal Government for funding of six developmental projects. A request has been made to include these projects in the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP).
Developmental plans shared for addition into the PSDP include, the up-gradation of expressway from Koral Chowk till G.T. Road, construction of an interchange on 7th Avenue and Kashmir Highway, restoration of IJP Road, improvement of Rawal Dam Chowk and the development of rural roads.
Plans of expressway up-gradation from Koral Chowk till G.T. Road had already been a part of PSDP, however current Finance Minister, Asad Umar pulled back an allocation worth Rs.7 billion made by the former government for the current fiscal year.
