Chairman CDA directs for improvement of Water supply in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Chairman, Capital Development Authority (CDA) Amer Ahmed Ali while visiting inspecting Rawal Water Treatment Plant directed the relevant authorities to improve the water supply in Islamabad.

On the occasion, the Chairman CDA was briefed about the water situation in the capital and informed that comprehensive measures are being taken to improve the water supply in Islamabad.

While briefing the chairman, the Director Water Supply was of the view that water supply to the sector G-7, G-8, `and I-8 is being provided from the water treatment plant.

The civic authority has restored the supply of 2crore 70lacs gallon of the water after repairing various supply lines in the capital.

Furthermore, the civic authority has directed the public sector buildings to utilise rainwater by building underground wells.
