
Beijing: The Chinese government has funded $230 million for the New Gwadar International Airport under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang expressed confidence over the project’s contribution to the development of the entire region and the world.
In the Gurandani area, 26km northeast of Gwadar city, New Gwadar International Airport will be completed within the next three years. The airport will hold capabilities to house a combination of several aircrafts for domestic and international routes. Being the second largest airport of Pakistan, the airport will link the world with Gwadar port city.
