LAHORE: Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar, on Tuesday, laid the foundation stone of the signal-free Shahkam Chowk flyover.
Several prominent officials including provincial ministers Mian Aslam Iqbal, Mahmood ur Rasheed, Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan and Syed Hussain Jehanian Gardezi, WASA Vice Chairman Sheikh Imtiaz Mahmood, Senator Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhary, LDA DG Ahmad Aziz, member of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Governing Body Tariq Sana Bajwa were in attendance.
On the occasion, the CM stated that the government was adopting the policy of balanced development so everyone can reap the benefits equitably.
He further emphasised the need for development for the better quality of life of citizens. He also announced the future development plans with the construction of healthcare and education facilities.
